Merry LIFTMAS From us all

Look at them in their wee LIFTMAS jumpers full of LIFTMAS cheer. There's a window into to a day in the life of Niamh, Maciej & Shauna this festive season. Right now they are busy decorating a tree with kettlebells (that's going to end well... ahem).

However, they wanted to say thank you to you all, it has been a pleasure for Niamh, Maciej and Shuana to help you reach your fitness goals in 2016. They and everyone at Lift look forward to contributing to your success in 2017.

Don't forget to check out the Lift website for our Christmas Class Schedules.

Charity Event in Aide of Dublin Simon Community

More good news for December: Lift Training Studios will also be holding a Lifting Fundamentals workshop (with workout, of course) & nutrition Q&A in the studio on December 17th at 10am. Our trainers will be on hand to go through basic techniques and safety points for the essential movements of resistance training, perfect for beginners who want to learn to lift safely, or more established Lift-ers who want a reminder! The workshop is completely free, all we ask for is a small donation to Dublin Simon Community (for whom December is always a tricky month, so every little helps!). If you can't make the workshop and would like to donate, just let us know – we'll have a collection box on hand in the studio.

New class, new trainer and a chance to WIN!

New to the site, we're going to be updating our blog each week with a look at what's new chez Lift.

This week, the big news is that Maciej, the newest member of the team, is adding to the Lift class timetable with a 6.45pm Tuesday evening class. The usual rules apply: bring plenty of water, and all talk of doughnuts is strictly forbidden!

You may also have noticed a brand new fridge at Lift (Niamh and Amy carried that up the stairs themselves, round of applause please), which means we're going to be stocking some consumables very, very soon. Don't be expecting chocolate milk or anything, but please let us know if you have any (healthy, clean) ideas of what you'd like to see lining those shelves.

We've also been celebrating our birthday in style: at the weekend, Amy brought in a delicious Paleo tart (if you missed it, you'll just have to wait til next year...), and we've also been running a competition to win a Six Weeks to Strong competition, worth €550. It closes at midnight today, so if you haven't already, get entering.

Remember – we have classes (almost) every day at Lift, and our door is always open (figuratively speaking). Drop us an email info@lifttrainingstudios.ie to chat about how we can work together today!
